tvb (Tomek Lesniewski)is a DJ and producer from Wroclaw, Poland. He’s been dropping bass bombs for years, and his new album (on Dynasty Shit Records) is no exception.
The album is at times smooth, full of soulful footwork samples and jungle rhythms; but by the time the EP gets to ‘Top of Mind’ and ‘That’s the Way,’ however, things get a bit more hardcore. If you’re trying to stay awake, these tracks will not only keep your eyes open, they’ll get your feet moving and your head bopping with pleasure. The EP is both raw AND polished, in a package that, overall, just feels fun to listen to. This is some future-minded footwork material, to be certain. T.O.M is really the standout track on this one, which the album is named after. With it’s grinding synth work and masterful semblance of both jungle breaks as well as drum machine patterns, tvb further establishes that he’s not only a great Polish producer, but an incredible music producer, worldwide – period.
Polish juke has been blowing up lately, and tvb is not new to the electronic music or dance music game. He’s been making music for a decade, but in 2013 he released, ‘Liquid Story,’ (Sequel One Records). Look out for his name in the future, you’ll be seeing it a lot more, that’s guaranteed. Dynasty Shit is proud to host his new, ‘T.O.M’ release, marking the 26th release on our roster.

This isn’t going to be a lengthy post, just wanted to say what’s up to everyone. And yes, that grime samples pack will be up in just a few days! Wat’s uppppp!

Comin’ straight outta Sydney, Australia, it’s Source Invisible with his first Dynasty Shit album! The album is full of colorful melodies and futuristic electronic rhythms to get your head into a spin and your feet working hard. Both experimental/forward-think AND accessible (as any good art should be).
‘Epidemic of Sleep’ is a perfect name for it, as it describes both the mental state that Source Invisible was in when he made the album as well as the pacing of the music. It sounds like audio-ADHD, rambling around and then jumping up and down, in an ultimate refusal to turn off the lights and go to bed.
Although it’s hard (and probably a waste of time) to try to define this kind of thing with a single genre, ‘Epidemic’ contains bits of of old school acid and rave, a metric ton of jungle and footwork, and they’re all mixed up into a syrup, dried, cut, and finally snorted.
In other words, this music feels so good, it makes actual drugs jealous.
