Yes, the samples are here; and yes, they’re free. They are not, however, royalty-free.

Bounce music is a fun, upbeat style of dance music from Louisiana, and it’s been growing in popularity. Surprisingly, though, there are relatively few sample packs for this fun style of music…and when I say ‘few,’ I mean ZERO.. There are none – well, until now :)
This package contains samples from a couple of the popular old school rap tunes that are used in abundance in New Orleans bounce tunes – and I have cut them up into pieces, making them perfect to sample. I’ve also added a touch of reverb to some of the one-shots, which I personally think makes them easier to mix. I also did some subtle mastering, but I was careful not to fundamentally change the original sound too much, because I want these to still be somewhat authentic.
I’ve also included a few other percussion samples which I think work well with Southern bounce music. Anyway, most of these samples are NOT copyright free, as they’re sampled directly from rap songs that were on vinyl 30 years ago… So, use for PERSONAL USE ONLY. If you enjoy the tunes, you can always look for them online (or at record stores, etc) and buy ’em. Please do so! Again, this sample pack is just for entertainment purposes, to give you a sense of this style.
If folks seem to like this package and it gets a lot of downloads, I’d be down for making a much larger sample pack (and royalty-free as well) for producers out there who want to add a touch of New Orleans bounce influence to their music – or folks who want to dive head-on into it!! Let me know what you guys think of this.
Click the above image to get the sample pack… or click here. (and remember, there’s always a donate button on the right side of the page… (wink, wink)
There’s a happy goat on top of it! He’s hungry though, and if you donate a few dollars or a couple quarters, I can feed him!
Or if you don’t want to donate, that’s fine, too. Enjoy the samples!!!
This package has 67 samples, as indicated by the tattoo on the lovely twerking girl in the above graphic.
I decided to do this sample pack because Young Padawan (over at Glitch Hop Forum) had some questions about New Orleans bounce production and techniques, and I figured this bounce sample pack should come into existence…
Here are a couple of the bounce trax he posted.. (hint, you can hear a lot of the sounds of the sample packs in these trax)
BTW, once again, the samples are copyrighted – but IF you want royalty-free samples, (and if you’re releasing tracks commercially, you probably do) click HERE to get the world’s ONLY royaly-free N.O. Bounce sample pack!! – I hope Im not being confusing by having two separate sample packs on one page. One is royalty-free, one is not.

Again, not to push, but if you could spare a quarter, I’d be most grateful. (if not, it’s all good)
