So, yep, just as the title of this post proclaims, there’s a new one with Jay Z and Daft Punk. Apparently from the Tron Legacy days.
Once-decent music publication, Mixmag, described the song as, “Containing a trademark Daft Punk space age soundscape and Jay Z’s fresh flow,” so you know it’s… uh… well, I guess exactly what you’d expect.. (How do you keep a magazine going for 15 years?) Anyway, you can download the tune here, here, or here. Or here. Why download it? Well, duh, it contains Jay Z’s fresh flow. Super funky fresh flow. Phat. And Daft Punk and their trademark space age soundscapes, browski’s. C’mon. Do it. F-f-f-f-f-f-fresssshhhhhh. Or don’t. You can just watch it below:
What did you think?
Well, at any rate, here are some more photos…..
Yep, here’s some more photos of Daft Punk n the man behind the funky fresh flow: JAY Z.
Are you sick of all the photos yet? You’re not? Well, ok!
Tired of photos, yet? Of course not, yes? Alright, this super-informative article is over.
Yes, it’s quite a perilous journey, finding good rap and trap vocal samples for your mix. Sure, that old Biggie lyric DOES, unquestionably, sound dope as fuck. But can you use it? I mean, technically, it is illegal, and if you’re going to be selling very many records/downloads, you could get into some ugly legal territory down the line. And why limit yourself? Why pay royalties for 4 seconds of lyrics? Wouldn’t it be great to be able to have free access to tons of decent vocal samples, and not have any SINGLE SHREAD OF DOUBT that you SHOULD or SHOULDN’T use THIS or THAT sound in your new mix? It’s something that a TON of producers have had to think about, and it really can stifle the creative process. Why worry about bullshit legalities when you really just want to create the craziest, most insane electronic album anyone’s ever fucking heard in their entire fucking lives???
Enter, a new (and ridiculously decent-priced sample package that you will be FAAARRR from regretting picking up…
/\ /\ FREE DEMO AVAILABLE BY CLICK THE GRAPHIC ABOVE! /\ /\
..and …
\/ \/ FULL PACK AVAILABLE BY CLICKING THIS GRAPHIC BELOW! \/ \/
Well.. Sounds good. But come on, Bassadelic.com, y’all motherfuckers ALWAYS give us some kind of free taste – can’t we have a dozen or so samples, just to wet our voracious appetites, no questions asked?
NO! …Well, Ok, I changed my mind…
YES YOU CAN!!
Click the link below and you’ll be taken to a fantastical, magical, incredible mediafire link where you can download and immediately start using a bunch of trap samples for free. And, if you enjoy them, perhaps you’ll consider coming back over to the site and possibly picking up the full package? It does not cost a lot, as we do not believe in gauging our friends and customers, unlike a lot of sample pack companies that would easily charge about a hundred dollars for a pack like this. (No, seriously, a lot of big-name companies wouldn’t even hesitate… I could name about a dozen off the top of my head, which I think is one of the big reasons people like our sample packs (because we don’t act like greedy douche bags… but I’ll leave that issue aside for right now)..
The point being, there IS a demo pack, 29 samples (a mere 1/25th the amount of samples that you get in the FULL version) and that demo is available at the linked graphic below:
Give us MORE INFOZZZ!
So, you get 739 .WAV samples (weighing in at around 350 MB) in this sample package from Bassadelic.com
This sample pack picks up where the last one left off, covering a wide variety of trap hip hop style vocal one-shot .WAV samples that are completely perfect for mixing into your next musical production.
You might use them for vocal refrains, rhythmic backing, as one-off vocal FX in the middle of your own verse, or even just on the drop before the beat and the bass in your new trap masterpiece shatter the dancefloor. Whatever you choose to do with theseall original / royalty-free and copyright-free sounds, you’re sure to find some use out of them; they range in theme from talking about clubs, hip hop culture, edm culture, weed culture, tons of modern slang terms, as well as a variety of adult themes and fun dancefloor anthem-style vocal samples. Some are one or two words long, while others are a sentence or two in length – and some are catchy, verbal announcements that are PERFECT for adding to trap music.
People will constantly be asking you, “Hey, what rap song is this from?” But it’ll be your secret ;)
These samples were recorded by two MCs who took influence from rappers such as 2Chainz, Wacka Flocka Flame, Lil B, T.I., Juicy J, Cheif Keef, Gucci Mane, OG; as well as older classic rap artists such as Tupac, Biggie, Jay Z, and Ludacris. The vocals in this package cover the verbal spectrum of EDM and trap – sometimes conversationally, sometimes braggadociously, sometimes angrily, and sometimes just plain hilariously; this pack is MUCH more than just a run of the mill collection of ‘AY,’ ‘YEA,’ and ‘HEY,’ samples that you find in some ‘Vocal’ folders of other sample packages (though, you can be sure there are a -FEW- of those types of samples in here, too. I mean, it IS a trap pack, and this one is DEFINITELY a step beyond comprehensive, as you’ll soon find out…
Anyway, we really hope you enjoy these samples, and come out with some trap hits using as many of these vocal shots as you see fit. You can use them however you want in both commercial and personal applications; however, you can NOT resell these samples, even if you rename them.
In a post-post-apocalyptic nightmare of a faraway future, a team of ultra-professional glitch-scientists went on an heroic mission to the center of a black hole to capture the infinite nothingness and horrifying temptations that lay inside, with a mere tape recorder and a microphone… Well, if you want to read the comic version of this story, just look at the graphic below…
What they found was so sonically-warped and twisted that every one of these tragic explorers was instantly struck with a cosmic dose of space madness! Time and space unraveled and exploded before their very ears as the black hole ripped a hole in the fabric of space, blasting their trusty tape recorder through a vortex back in time ten thousand years, specifically, to the year 2014!
So, what you are hearing in this, ‘sample pack,’ brave explorers, are cuts from a space voyage gone HORRIBLY WRONG!!
Yes, these small .WAV files are the sounds of a deadly and haunting interstellar voyage into the nature of the universe itself, each cut down to just a mere, few seconds each! – a lofty thing, considering these sounds were all, originally, bouncing in and out of existence at an unfathomable ten billon miles per second!!!
These sounds are glitchy, exciting, scary, harsh, insane, and at times: downright rude; and not to be taken lightly! Even using ONE of these samples in your next crunkadelic bass-heavy club-banger will render your audience with the same space madness that permanently corrupted the neurotransmitters inside the heroic heads of the future cosmonauts who recorded them to begin with! It’s a lot of responsibility that’s being passed onto the user of these samples – BUT, in the interest of science, it is only fair that the world knows of these terrifying galactic noises, as a warning of what’s possible at the edge of the universe, where a harsh and unforgiving glitchadelic chaos rules the multi-dimensional ultraverse, constantly distorting and perverting anything in it’s gigantic path.
Weighing in @ 300 MB, This ‘sample pack’ contains 322 files in .WAV audio format, including:
– 109 Drumpocalypse Cuts From a Black Hole
(based primarily on combinations of rhythm samples and noise)
– 213 Synthadelic Space Madness samples
(based on a wide range of synthesizer samples that have been twisted, distorted, and manipulated)
These samples and cuts were expertly mangled by StrangeFlow (aka 5ifty$ix K) and they are so ferocious and insane that they would Stockhausen weep with jealousy. They are perfect for glitch hop, dubstep, electro, complextro, breakcore, idm, gabber, drum n bass; as well as any other hardcore style of electronic music that will emerge in the next few years after the world hears these black hole sounds…
Please note: these are NOT sequenced loops, they are more FX than anything else. They can also assist as fills and helping add some often-needed chaos and excitement to many an electronic tune.
There is, of course, a demo package… But be warned, the demo is just a mere taste of the true nature of the dark universe, which has been recorded and sent to us from the future… But don’t worry, I was lying about the tape recorder and a microphone. That was just for shock value and giggles. These sounds were actually created with a computer (: Click HERE for the demo… < < < < < < < !!!
These sounds are royalty-free, copyright-free, and you can use them however you choose in your personal and commercial productions and projects. If you choose to use any of these samples, you DON’T have to give us any credit in your linear notes, or anything like that (because that would get annoying pretty quick) but there is ONE stipulation: you can NOT resell this sample package or the contents inside this sample package, nor can you rename anything in this sample package and resell that. Makes sense, eh? So have fun, and as always, happy mixin’ !!
0.8 Gigabytes of audio (including .4 GB of 16 bit .WAV and a duplicate .4 GB set of samples @ in 16 bit .AIFF format.)
(++Plus free demo samples of other packages, making this package weigh a total hefty sum of 1.2 GIGS!)
Time Signatures, as well as tempo’s, are clearly identified.
This package contains instrumental samples, as well as 60 trap rhythms and 31 epic cymbal crashes.
Cloud rap – with it’s airy aesthetics, purple swag, and hazy / lush grooves – it’s a genre that has been blowing up lately. Pioneers like A$AP Rocky, Clams Casino, Spaceghost Purp, Lil B (as well as old school geniuses like Dilla) have paved the way for a new generation of hip hop producers to (smoothly) bomb the underground clubs, albums and mixtapes with a chilled out and colorful set of interesting new sounds. Cloud rap also takes influence from DJ Screw, the originator (and master) of Houston’s chopped ‘n’ screwed sound, with it’s cut up and slowed down – as well as phased out – hip hop musical influences.
Float atop a mellow kush breeze with these based melodies and lush pads, and get your mixes sounding cloudy and plush in no time! This package contains full-scale pads, bell samples, sustained cymbal pads, as well as many fine melodies that take influence from a variety of rappers and hip hop producers.
The sounds in this sample package range in feeling from serene and relaxing, to downright eery and wonky (and, somehow, still quite relaxing…) and yet all of them are designed to fit perfectly with slowed down hip hop breaks. These sounds will allow you to pour a half a bottle of purple syrup all over your new tunes and beats.
This package includes a variety of colorful sounds, from synthesizer loops to brass and violin sounds. They have been, in some cases, affected with phasers; luscious tape delays; and all of the instrument samples have extremely soothing reverb. The instrument/synth samples range in tempo from 70 to 90 BPM (though they can, of course, be sped up to whatever tempo you desire.)
This product ALSO contains 60 trap rhythm samples, each @ about 13 seconds in duration, and each @ 142 BPM.
In total, there is about an hour of original audio content, so previewing the samples will be almost as fun as building tracks out of them. So if you want, feel free to put this package into a playlist, sit back and groove to all your new samples! It’s almost like listening to a new album! Well, sort of.
In full, this sample pack contains 227 total samples, including:
– 60 Trap Beats (the Trap Beats Vol. 1 Package!)
– 31 Epic Cymbal Crashes
– 10 One-Shot Sustained Bell Samples
– 10 Sustained Cymbal Pads
