The ‘StrangeFlow’s Authentic Electro Swing,’ series is, by far, one of our most popular products at Bassadelic.com (that and the trap packages we also do) and for good reason; they’re swanky as ALL HELL! Electro swing (be it on the house music – or – the hip hop end of the spectrum) is huge right now. It’s so much fun! Everywhere from Australia, Asia (and Europe, especially) and also across North America, swing clubs and swing parties have opened up, promoting a musical revolution that is completely unparalleled. Carefree, melodic, always bass-heavy, full of fun electronic sounds and old school swing/jazz/big band samples from the first half of the century, electro swing is truly one of the hallmarks of our time!

To put it another way, this ISN’T your parent’s swing revival…

“There really is NOTHING else quite like this product on the market. And, it’s insanely reasonable in pricing. For January 4th, 2014, it’s free; but after that, it’s going to be discounted for awhile. You might wonder why it’s so inexpensive… Is it because we don’t have confidence in our products? That’s not it at all: WE HAVE FULL CONFIDENCE in EVERYTHING we release, we’re just NOT trying to rip you off, that’s all, honestly. I’m a musician, and I would hate having to pay sixty or seventy bucks for ANY sample pack, it’s just ridiculous, which is why I keep mine at decent-minded prices. That’s my story, and I’m definitely sticking to it! My music / sample releases on Bassadelic are affordable, high-quality products, and I’m going to keep it that way.”

-StrangeFlow

Thanks for givin’ us a chance, And we REALLY hope you enjoy the samples!!!

This product contains 100% royalty-free and/or copyright-expired tracks, and is legally allowed to be sold in the U.S. You can use these audio files in any of your musical compositions or projects, both personal AND commercial. The one thing you can’t do, however, is resell the samples. That’s all. Other than that, rub some funk on your new tunes and get EVERYBODY’S fingers snapping to your next album! :)

Juke Music Forum’s Free Compilation !! (JMFTRXVOL1) Pick it uuuupp and twerk the funk out!

JMFTRXVOL1_

Over @ Jukemusicforum.com, (one of Bassadelic’s sister sites) we decided to have ourselves a compilation. So, here it is: 17 pristine trax that span the 160 bpm (ish) gambit, from Chicago juke to footwork-jungle. Good Street, Dynasty Shit, Bassadelic.com, and GhetoMax are all represented on this incredible release. Hopefully, there will be many more releases to come in the future that are similiar to this one. JMFTRXVOL 2 is already in the works, actually! So stay tuned!

It’s a free release, so help yourselves, everyone!! Get turnt up and reckless, and rage out to some new JMF trax!! Also, I need to point out, this isn’t a strictly-Dynasty Shit-release. I’m just housing it on the DS bandcamp page because, well, it seemed like a good place to put it. But in actuality, there are a ton of non-Dynasty Shit folks that contributed to this fun compilation. So, anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the fun juke and footwork-jungle tunes that are on this release! It’s a very fun listen, in my opinion! :)

Fuck Off 2013, it’s time for 2014 !!

!2014-hooray!

Just like the graphic above, 2014 has WAY too much going on – in a good way!

So, it was an interesting year in music, and I’m excited about 2014. Had some good posts, good sample packs, and have got much more planned for 2014. I plan to make it the best year yet for this site!

There was a delay in what was supposed to come out at the end of the year (due to a power outtage that lasted WAY too long) so there is going to e even more coming out in January. An electro swing sample package (Electro Swing Part 3) as well as Trap Vocals Part 2, AND a package of old skool rave sounds!!

Yes, I think January is going to be a great month, and 2014 a fabulous year! I’m committed to being as motivated and productive as possible with everything I want to accomplish, and I happily encourage you to do the same! :) Why not make 2014 the year you conquer the fucking universe?!! It’s much more possible than you might think. Not that many people have a ‘conquer the fucking universe’ goal, so if you decide to go ahead and set such a goal up for yourself, you’re already more motivated than a majority of people out there. It’s MATH! And as we all know, technically you can’t fucks with math.

So, what else? Well, there’s this awesome picture of me, StrangeFlow, below:

Drumpocalypse_Comic

In a post-post-apocalyptic nightmare of a faraway future, a team of ultra-professional glitch-scientists went on an heroic mission to the center of a black hole to capture the infinite nothingness and horrifying temptations that lay inside, with a mere tape recorder and a microphone… Well, if you want to read the comic version of this story, just look at the graphic below…

What they found was so sonically-warped and twisted that every one of these tragic explorers was instantly struck with a cosmic dose of space madness! Time and space unraveled and exploded before their very ears as the black hole ripped a hole in the fabric of space, blasting their trusty tape recorder through a vortex back in time ten thousand years, specifically, to the year 2014!

So, what you are hearing in this, ‘sample pack,’ brave explorers, are cuts from a space voyage gone HORRIBLY WRONG!!
Yes, these small .WAV files are the sounds of a deadly and haunting interstellar voyage into the nature of the universe itself, each cut down to just a mere, few seconds each! – a lofty thing, considering these sounds were all, originally, bouncing in and out of existence at an unfathomable ten billon miles per second!!!

These sounds are glitchy, exciting, scary, harsh, insane, and at times: downright rude; and not to be taken lightly! Even using ONE of these samples in your next crunkadelic bass-heavy club-banger will render your audience with the same space madness that permanently corrupted the neurotransmitters inside the heroic heads of the future cosmonauts who recorded them to begin with! It’s a lot of responsibility that’s being passed onto the user of these samples – BUT, in the interest of science, it is only fair that the world knows of these terrifying galactic noises, as a warning of what’s possible at the edge of the universe, where a harsh and unforgiving glitchadelic chaos rules the multi-dimensional ultraverse, constantly distorting and perverting anything in it’s gigantic path.

Weighing in @ 300 MB, This ‘sample pack’ contains 322 files in .WAV audio format, including:
    – 109 Drumpocalypse Cuts From a Black Hole
(based primarily on combinations of rhythm samples and noise)
    – 213 Synthadelic Space Madness samples
(based on a wide range of synthesizer samples that have been twisted, distorted, and manipulated)

These samples and cuts were expertly mangled by StrangeFlow (aka 5ifty$ix K) and they are so ferocious and insane that they would Stockhausen weep with jealousy. They are perfect for glitch hop, dubstep, electro, complextro, breakcore, idm, gabber, drum n bass; as well as any other hardcore style of electronic music that will emerge in the next few years after the world hears these black hole sounds…

Please note: these are NOT sequenced loops, they are more FX than anything else. They can also assist as fills and helping add some often-needed chaos and excitement to many an electronic tune.

There is, of course, a demo package… But be warned, the demo is just a mere taste of the true nature of the dark universe, which has been recorded and sent to us from the future… But don’t worry, I was lying about the tape recorder and a microphone. That was just for shock value and giggles. These sounds were actually created with a computer (: Click HERE for the demo… < < < < < < < !!!

These sounds are royalty-free, copyright-free, and you can use them however you choose in your personal and commercial productions and projects. If you choose to use any of these samples, you DON’T have to give us any credit in your linear notes, or anything like that (because that would get annoying pretty quick) but there is ONE stipulation: you can NOT resell this sample package or the contents inside this sample package, nor can you rename anything in this sample package and resell that. Makes sense, eh? So have fun, and as always, happy mixin’ !!

-William Dunn ( aka StrangeFlow / 5ifty$ix K )
