So, it’s summertime. At least, it is in my part of the world. I guess it’s winter in Australia? I don’t know much about Australia.
Let me start over. So it’s summertime. And it’s hot. So what better way to keep cool than with a cool new background and graphic scheme here at Bassadelic? Exactly! So, I decided to go with a slightly modified background and header theme for the month. Why? Well, why not? The yellow was getting on my nerves. Rustic yellow bricks are fun, but only for so long. And it’s time for a new beginning. Actually, that’s not the only ‘new beginning,’ either: Bassadelic Studios is going to be going across the country, and moving to the stankin’ Mitten, otherwise known as Michigan. So, in a couple of weeks, that’s what I’ll be upto. But, I still plan on providing some excellent content to the site – and I also wanted to announce a new (hopefully record-setting) project I’ve been working on…
It’s called the Great Wall of Bass (http://www.greatwallofbass.com) I’m setting out on a mission to build the biggest wall on the internet to EVER have been made – assembled entirely from bricks made out of bass.
Yes, BASS. Fish? No. Subwoofers and beats and rave trax? YES! Aye, they said it couldn’t be done; they were wrong! Over the next few months the plan is to make it HUGE! All you have to do to get featured on the wall is follow the simple instructions on the site. It’s purposely a small site, in terms of the page-count, but the content ON the main page is going to be astounding. Who knows, perhaps there could one day be a MILLION songs on the Great Wall of Bass! It would set records!
Anyway, there’s the great wall, and also some very good samples and articles comin’ up. Stay tuned, it’s going to be a fun month!
