Harper Boogie has been at the controls since last year with his radio show on mixcloud, showing off his mad funkadelic skillz with his awesome series… It’s thick, funky, trippy, beat-driven as all funking fuck; and then it moves into a realm of soulful loops and ambient vinyl grooves that are sure to make you feel juuust right. I haven’t had a chance to hear all of it (as I said, it’s … uh… 15 hours worth of sets.. Actually, a little bit more than 15 hours) but so far it sounds mostly instrumental. Some of it even sounds wonky. (Note: that’s the GOOD WoNKY.)
So if you wanna hear a bunch of music, MUCH of which I guarantee you haven’t yet heard, ranging from modern funk and soul (leaning on the hip hop/electronic tip) you REALLLLLY NEED TO CHECK this stuff out. I PROMISE you will not be disappointed with it. Fo real.
