I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary, and it gave me some real insight into the world of trap music.
Trap originated in the South about ten or so years ago, and it’s growing and growing since then. In the last few years, dubstep, house, and other electronic styles of music have been combined with trap to create something new for this second decade of the 21st century of ours…
So, watch the video, and see for yourself! It’s well done… The intro is a little cheesy with the narration… Kinda douchey, actually.
The folks at Mad Decent, Trill HD, LiveMixtapes.com, and ClubTapes (as well as TONS AND TONS of great trap musicians) present this incredibly exciting documentary on an emerging new musical scene that definitely could eclipse dubstep in popularity and scope….as well as musical range. Not to rip on dubstep TOO much, but it’s a relevant critique, and you’ll see why after you watch the video…
