Yep, that’s right – here’s my favorite tune to come out this year, in the genre of electro swing. I’m still waiting for this incredibly fun genre to have more of an impact in my own country (the tiny sovereign nation / island known as the U.S.) and so while I’m waiting, let me also hype it a little bit… Electro swing is da bomb. Yea, that’s right, droppin’ some of that ’94 science on ya: “DA BOMB!”
Anyway, the point is, there are other remixes of this Ella Fitzgerald tune, but this one is very well done and I thought it deserved some blog-love. It’s definitely ONE of the best, if not THE best, of the year. I know it’s only November… But hey – uh… Why wait till January 1st, 2013 to stat talking about 2012, eh? After all that Mayan shit goes down, there isn’t going to be any electro swing, so now is our last chance to rock it out, right? (I hope not..)
