Fuuuuuck yes. That beautiful juke, with DJ Rashad, DJ Manny, RP Boo, and DJ Spinn!!!
Ray-Ban x Boiler Room Pitchfork Festival official afterparty with Jacques Greene, Todd Edwards, Teklife (DJ’s Rashad, Spinn, Manny, and RP Boo), and Ryan Hemsworth
Yes, the Bassadelic mixtape series returns! And this one is a really fun mixtape, to be certain!
I’ve been talking with Kid Lib lately (and get ready for an interview with this INSANELY prolific jungle/juke dude!) and he was kind enough to drop a mixtape on us, here at Bassadelic. It’s the Smokin Trees Mixtape. I know 4/20 was a few days ago, but this mix transcends any smoker’s holiday, so I didn’t feel the need to post it only for that occasion. I’ve listened to this one at least ten times. It’s a high impact footwork jungle gem-of-a-jam of a mixtape, and I’m extremely excited to post it here.
I’m also trying to get Kid Lib in on the new Dynasty Shit, for a track on the new compilation. It’s a jungle juke label started by StrangeFlow / Bassadelic, specializing in jukey/footwork mixed with jungle/dnb sounds. I’m very excited about that. And I’m hoping I can convince the Kid Lib to join up for at least one or two grooves, because his stuff is really something. But, we’ll have to see.
Anyway, without further ado, he was kind enough and awesome enough to drop this special tape on us, and I have to share it!! Click the image above, or click here.
UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over, but the samples ARE still available and on sale!
Well, I decided to give away 25 copies of my new Chicago juke samples package, “StrangeFlow’s Ultimate Juke Samples.” I did a similar giveaway when I released my, “500 Trap Music Vocal Samples,” a few months back, except I only said I was going to give away ten (to the first ten comments on that “giveaway” blog post) … Well, I posted the giveaway, went out to lunch, and came back (with a belly full of delicious Seattle burritos) hoping to have a few folks to give some trap samples to.. Well..
The results proved that some of these giveaways are FAR more popular than I had anticipated.. So, this time, I’m doing 30! Yep, 25 free copies will be passed out! So if you’re into juke music, or even just curious, you should really consider entering – this page is bound to fill up with comments fairly quickly..
IF YOU DON’T get here in time to be one of the first 25 comments, that’s ok. The sample pack is still available.. HERE!!
As well, there is a free 20-sample demo package also available.. HEEEERE!
SO! Now that that’s taken care of….
Start the comments! If you want to, feel free to FOLLOW Bassadelic, as well.. Or feel free to write an amusing comment about egg salad. It’s up to you. Either way, if you’re one of the first 25 comments, you will get an email soon…
Pleaaase give me up to a day or so to get all the packages delivered. I’m doing this by myself (just as I do most of this site) so please take this into consideration! :) I’m sure you’ll understand! Thanks for the interest and support, and I hope you guys enjoy the fuck outta these samples!!
…and….GO!

Here’s a preview I put together, which contains nothing but samples from this package!
Juke/footwork is a fast and very rhythmic style of dance music that originated from the city of Chicago and takes influence primarily from ghetto house music. It should come as no surprise that the city that created house music knows a thing or to about how to put together a damn good dance tune, and juke is a great example of that.
Juke has been created for years, but it has recently received international recognition, with artists such as Addison Groove and labels such as Night Slugs and Planet Mu making their contribution to the genre. However, some of the originals (who are still cookin’ up incredible trax to this day) include DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn, just to name a couple.
Footwork and juke trax have been exploding in the last few months, and if you’re dedicated enough, you can get in on the ground floor right as this exciting genre of electronic music starts to blow up the way dubstep and trap did, so recently.
Another exciting aspect of juke music is the footwork dancing you see at parties where juke music might be played. In fact, the music is designed for the dancers, and if you haven’t seen footwork dancing, I suggest you look it up immediatlely, as it is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time! Footwork dancers move their feet in such a fast and complex, stylistic way; it’s mesmerizing, and I only wish I knew how to do it, myself (or was physically capable of moving THAT fast – it’s really insane what footwork dancers can do… It looks UNREAL…).
So, if you want to make Chicago style juke beats, you’ll be purchasing the right product! I hope you enjoy this package, as I spent a lot of time with it and tried as hard as possible to make this the most useful product it could be for making juke tunes. So, without further ado, here’s what you can expect from this sample pack, in total:
You get well over SIX HUNDRED samples with this package, all of them extremely useful and well put together, making this unique and reasonably-priced product an even better buy.
You’ll have a damn hard time finding any other footwork / juke production packs on the market, much less any as good as this one.
Even if you’re only thinking of doing remixes, this kit will undoubtedly serve you well! With complete beats in three different time signatures (which can be adjusted up or down a reasonable number of beats per minute) sequenced synthizer melodies (fifty of them!) and a copy of every drum sample from the TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines, this is one of the best electronic music sample products of 2013, hands down. We have full confidence in it, as it is one of our best products, to date.
The cover graphic above is a re-branding of the ‘StrangeFloow’s Ultimate Juke Samples’ package. I thought this one needed a new title image
(P.S. Don’t worry, despite Yuri’s attempts at taking credit for all of jukedom, I have successfully kept him OUT of this project!)
(P.P.S….. What if you’re sitting there, thinking, “StrangeFlow, this all sounds too good to be true, but wait a minute – how do I know this is what I want? Can’t you give us a free preview? Or something? Give us twenty free samples, no questions asked..”
Fair enough! Here are twenty free samples:
Here’s a demo pack, containing 20 free samples, to get you started on this juke pack. Happy mixing!
Here’s a preview/demo track made with these samples. There are tons and tons of potential sounds and tunes you can get out of these samples, and here are a few:
Well, the juke samples pack I promised is now complete. To celebrate this, I’ve organized a free juke demo pack for interested producers.
Hopefully you’ll enjoy these samples, and, in a perfect world, come back for more. The 600+ samples pack will be waiting here for only 16 bucks, and in the meantime, enjoy these 20 freebies that are taken directly from the package itself.
So, I’ll get to the mixes in a second—but first, here’s the scippety-scoop: I was getting ready to do a ‘Top Ten Juke Songs,’ and then decided, ‘OK, how about a top ten for the LAST SIX MONTHS…,’ and then, in the process of discovering some new juke, I was tipped off by Keri Bellybelle about DJ Spinn’s new release, ‘TEKLIFE Vol. 2,’ which I proceeded to listen to – and it is REALLY good! I recommend checking this one out! Its got some dope material from DJ Spinn, DJ Rashad, & DJ Manny.
….and what good would this fucking site be if I only told you about it but didn’t provide you with a LINK!!!! <–!!!!
Here’s one of the trax, She Turnt Up, from the album:
OK, so what else is there from DJ Spinn, beyond this awesome new release? Well, seeing as he is a DJ, he has lots of mixes to listen to, and here are a few of them from the last couple of years..
RASHAD SPINN WE TRIPPY MANE MIXTAPE pt1
The wire mix snip 12 Dj Spinn part 2
DJ Weekly Podcast 22: DJ Spinn
Math + Science: DJ Spinn Guest DJ Set & Interview
That last one is pretty interesting, too; a long mix + a great interview with DJ Spinn. Very fun! Hope you enjoy these great mixes from one of Chicago’s dopest juke DJs!
I’ll be posting a lot more juke in the next few weeks, definitely. But for now, have fun with these DJ Spinn trax!! They should keep ya goin for a bit!

Check it out :) (there’s also a free demo pack with a few of the sounds, to give you an idea of what’s in it, as well as a demo track I made.)
