UPDATE: This Giveaway is now over, but the samples ARE still available and on sale!
Well, I decided to give away 25 copies of my new Chicago juke samples package, “StrangeFlow’s Ultimate Juke Samples.” I did a similar giveaway when I released my, “500 Trap Music Vocal Samples,” a few months back, except I only said I was going to give away ten (to the first ten comments on that “giveaway” blog post) … Well, I posted the giveaway, went out to lunch, and came back (with a belly full of delicious Seattle burritos) hoping to have a few folks to give some trap samples to.. Well..
The results proved that some of these giveaways are FAR more popular than I had anticipated.. So, this time, I’m doing 30! Yep, 25 free copies will be passed out! So if you’re into juke music, or even just curious, you should really consider entering – this page is bound to fill up with comments fairly quickly..
IF YOU DON’T get here in time to be one of the first 25 comments, that’s ok. The sample pack is still available.. HERE!!
As well, there is a free 20-sample demo package also available.. HEEEERE!
SO! Now that that’s taken care of….
Start the comments! If you want to, feel free to FOLLOW Bassadelic, as well.. Or feel free to write an amusing comment about egg salad. It’s up to you. Either way, if you’re one of the first 25 comments, you will get an email soon…
Pleaaase give me up to a day or so to get all the packages delivered. I’m doing this by myself (just as I do most of this site) so please take this into consideration! :) I’m sure you’ll understand! Thanks for the interest and support, and I hope you guys enjoy the fuck outta these samples!!
…and….GO!

Here’s a preview I put together, which contains nothing but samples from this package!
Juke/footwork is a fast and very rhythmic style of dance music that originated from the city of Chicago and takes influence primarily from ghetto house music. It should come as no surprise that the city that created house music knows a thing or to about how to put together a damn good dance tune, and juke is a great example of that.
Juke has been created for years, but it has recently received international recognition, with artists such as Addison Groove and labels such as Night Slugs and Planet Mu making their contribution to the genre. However, some of the originals (who are still cookin’ up incredible trax to this day) include DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn, just to name a couple.
Footwork and juke trax have been exploding in the last few months, and if you’re dedicated enough, you can get in on the ground floor right as this exciting genre of electronic music starts to blow up the way dubstep and trap did, so recently.
Another exciting aspect of juke music is the footwork dancing you see at parties where juke music might be played. In fact, the music is designed for the dancers, and if you haven’t seen footwork dancing, I suggest you look it up immediatlely, as it is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time! Footwork dancers move their feet in such a fast and complex, stylistic way; it’s mesmerizing, and I only wish I knew how to do it, myself (or was physically capable of moving THAT fast – it’s really insane what footwork dancers can do… It looks UNREAL…).
So, if you want to make Chicago style juke beats, you’ll be purchasing the right product! I hope you enjoy this package, as I spent a lot of time with it and tried as hard as possible to make this the most useful product it could be for making juke tunes. So, without further ado, here’s what you can expect from this sample pack, in total:
You get well over SIX HUNDRED samples with this package, all of them extremely useful and well put together, making this unique and reasonably-priced product an even better buy.
You’ll have a damn hard time finding any other footwork / juke production packs on the market, much less any as good as this one.
Even if you’re only thinking of doing remixes, this kit will undoubtedly serve you well! With complete beats in three different time signatures (which can be adjusted up or down a reasonable number of beats per minute) sequenced synthizer melodies (fifty of them!) and a copy of every drum sample from the TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines, this is one of the best electronic music sample products of 2013, hands down. We have full confidence in it, as it is one of our best products, to date.
The cover graphic above is a re-branding of the ‘StrangeFloow’s Ultimate Juke Samples’ package. I thought this one needed a new title image
(P.S. Don’t worry, despite Yuri’s attempts at taking credit for all of jukedom, I have successfully kept him OUT of this project!)
(P.P.S….. What if you’re sitting there, thinking, “StrangeFlow, this all sounds too good to be true, but wait a minute – how do I know this is what I want? Can’t you give us a free preview? Or something? Give us twenty free samples, no questions asked..”
Fair enough! Here are twenty free samples:
Here’s a demo pack, containing 20 free samples, to get you started on this juke pack. Happy mixing!
Here’s a preview/demo track made with these samples. There are tons and tons of potential sounds and tunes you can get out of these samples, and here are a few:
Well, the juke samples pack I promised is now complete. To celebrate this, I’ve organized a free juke demo pack for interested producers.
Hopefully you’ll enjoy these samples, and, in a perfect world, come back for more. The 600+ samples pack will be waiting here for only 16 bucks, and in the meantime, enjoy these 20 freebies that are taken directly from the package itself.
On my way to finish the Chicago Juke Samples pack **that I am 90% finished with** I made an 808 sample pack. It was the plan from day 1 to include a complete TR-808 drum one-shots folder for my new juke samples pack.
But then, after I finished creating the 808, I started thinking, “Hey, what if there are some people who might want all 171 of the 808 samples WITHOUT the juke beats and loops? What if there are some folks who prefer their 808 ala carte?”
So, your problems have been solved with this 808 samples pack…. These samples are saturated and designed for the electronic producer in search of 808s that are louder, dynamic, and overall just fucking awesome… You will really find these drums useful, especially the 808 bass drums, which were processed and rinsed to the point where they are robust and bursting from the seems, waiting to be in your next track!
Everything you expect from an 808 is here – but with this pack, they sound BETTER, too. Having saturated and thick sounds like these will save you time in the studio, too.
Here below is a little write-up about this package (which contains the Bassadelic processing of the most popular and widely-used drum machine
…IN ALL OF FUCKING HISTORY FUCKING FOREVER…
“StrangeFlow’s Super Sick 808 Samples” contains 171 one-shot drum samples. This is a comprehensive package of slightly processed Roland TR-808 drum
machine one-shot samples. These samples have received the Bassadelic treatment, and I’ve touched them up with saturation, slight reverb, and a few other other subtle effects that make these samples richer, thicker, and overall, much more dynamic and reay-to-go.
I will let these samples speak for themselves, and I’m sure you will prove themselves useful in your electronic music productions, as 808 samples have
been used in many genres, including juke, trap, rap, techno, house, trance, and pretty much any other genre of digitally-recorded music.
So, basically, I was mixing some music, and decided to make a set of samples combining the TR-808 hat sample with the TR6-606 hat samples. They results turned out quite nice. So , I decided there wasn’t a good reason not to include them on the site. So, bing bang, here they are :)
I know, the photo of the drum-machine monster makes the whole thing a lot more epic than it is. Ah well, it was a fun image. Better than the alternative image – the TR-808 and TR-606 drum-machines sitting next to each other with cowboy hats on… That’s just a dumb image.
The pack includes 78 hi-hat samples altogether, including the 808 and the 606 (as well as the 808/606 hybrid one-shot samples) in WAV format.
SLIGHT manipulating/reverbing has been added to a lot of these samples, too. So, I hope that if you’re looking for some hat samples, you’ll get some use out of these!
Trap music is on fire lately, so naturally everyone wants to make it.
Elements of Trap Music:
1. Roland TR808 kicks, hats, toms and snares
Kicks are made to sustain for a long time typically to emphasize sub bass tails. 808 Toms are probably the most common element used for “fills” (maybe every 4 bars or so, depending on energy of the tune and what else in it).
Typically the snare is an 808 snare with an equalizer boost around 200hz and highpassed somewhere in the 50-120hz range (depending on the bass of course!)
You can obtain these from any 808 sample pack on the net, use an actual TR808 or Nepheton by D16 Software which emulates a TR808 in a VST (I happen to use Nepheton myself).
2. Drip effects
Sampled or synthesized water droplet sounds are very common.
3. Chants
Made popular in recent history by Crunk artists like Lil’ Jon and the Eastside Boyz. Sounds a bit like old native american chants (think of the classic Ho-Ya Ho-Ya Ho-Ya Ho-Ya war / drum circle chant used in a lot of movies). But in crunk, it’s “Hey!…Hey!…Hey!…Hey!”, or “Grr” “Uh-huh” or any other type of repetitive short vocal hit. You can cut these from rap acapellas a lot of the time.
4. Leads, other basses etc
This is the best part about trapstyle – the rest is pretty much up to you! A lot of artists will put moombahton leads hits and elements to fill the lead line, or some will play something dubsteppy to give it a melody, or even electro or swing elements go well in here. Another alternative that is fairly common is to do literally NOTHING in this place, instead putting in a raw lead vocal acapella or emphasizing variations of the standard elements of trap in the beat. It really is up to you… And I think this is what motivates a lot of artists like myself to make this type of music. You are left with a lot to your imagination as to what goes in (at this point in time, anyway!)
I attached a sample pack of loops made in Nepheton (a TR808 emulator VST). Feel free to cut out the individual drums or use the loops in your own compositions, however you see fit.
Have fun with em, I reserve no rights except to ask that if you redistribute the raw loop files let everyone know they came from angryrancor and bassadelic.com. Otherwise go ahead and use them in your own free or for sale music – you can give a mention to me and bassadelic on your tunes if you want, but it isn’t required.
Here are a few trap tunes I’ve made:
Again, in case ya missed it, here’s the free sample pack for ya!
