Yes, Yuri got out of jail. And, despite being the laziest person on earth (and yet claiming and bragging about the number of fans he has, of which he supposedly “gives everything to, all the time”) he was arrested for theft. He retells the tale in the video, below. Yuri claims it’s a tutorial, but it isn’t. Don’t follow in the footsteps of this fellow, he’s bad news.
Well, Yuri has been sick for awhile, but he’s *unfortunately* healthy again, and back into video production. The world HAS been waiting….
Well, Yuri came into my office, and immediately, I stopped him, saying, “Yuri, you’re not going to sneeze on me again, are you?” Yuri looked at me like I was insane, spit in my face, and handed me a reel-to-reel video of his newest production tutorial. In it, he starts a worldwide beef with thousands of producers as he claims to be the inventor of Chicago juke music (which is an… *interesting* claim…) and in this video, he shows how to make a juke tune.
I have to admit, the tune isn’t really too bad, except for his style of serenading… The backing instrumental beat is pretty good, though – because Yuri sampled (stole) it from Kid Logic. So, uh… sorry, Kid Logic, but I couldn’t stop Yuri. He is simply a menace, and terrorizes music so often its impossible for me to stop him…

Well, Dewey DB, of Glitch Hop Forum fame, decided to run a competition. The Glitch Hop Forum Competition. It was a major success, and everyone loved it. Well, about one year passed, and Dewey decided to do another competition, and this time, the theme would be, ‘Field Recording.’ The problem, however, was that many folks seemed to not understand what that meant. Many of the more basic rules were misinterpreted, for whatever reason, and Dewey didn’t know what to do.
He decided to ask Yuri to step in and help out. Well, Yuri happily obliged, and gave Dewey this video..

Seattle, WA. Monday Morning. I’m sitting at my desk. Yuri, seemingly having been up ALL NIGHT, runs into my office, slamming an 8mm reel-to-reel tape on my desk, screaming, “YOUTUBE!”
I look at him, annoyed, and ask him why he put his newest tutorial on such an outdated format, but I don’t think he understood the question. He started muttering about Pam Grier, and then he wandered off.
Well, Pam Grier does make an appearancce in his video about “sexy beats,” as Yuri shows the world how to do two things – 1) make the world’s sexiest beat, and 2) serenade over the sexiest beat, allowing women like Pam Grier to be completely entranced by you.
Well, that’s the idea, anyway. Yuri gave it all he’s got. Ah well.
Yes, it was our decision (here at the rigid / feudalistic hierarchy that is Bassadelic) to allow for a guest post by a guy named Yuri. Ah, it was not such a good idea.
Yuri (or, DJ N!FED!K) turned out to be a real menace, making a “tutorial” about how to create an ENTIRE EDM tune in about 5 minutes (though in the video, in a visibly hopeful/cocky state, Yuri claims it will only take about 1 minute…) He later goes on to make the statement, “Pay Yuri,” which was confusing and ambiguous, to say the least.
Please folks, do not attempt to even talk to Yuri (or, as he would refer to himself, DJ N!FED!K, “king of the gabber techno electronic sound”). Do not encourage him or he will just bother us even more and ask us to let him do more guest posts in the future. The man leaves entire gabber songs as voice messages. Yea, its kind of funny at first, but it happens 10+ per day. Blocking his phone number won’t be enough. Yuri finds a way :(
Ah, yes, Yuri sucks.
